The much-anticipated toolkit will be of great benefit to SMEs and established businesses in their journey to become investment ready.
Through a series of learning modules, the toolkit will guide users through the important topics related to becoming investment ready. The self-guided platform will share key information required for this journey.
Applicants will be able to register for the Toolkit using an easy-to-complete online registration form, which will be assessed by the PTI NZ team before being granted access to the platform.
Investors can register their interest too. They will find that the toolkit will have important resources which they can refer to when considering the Pacific as an investment destination. This includes having access to resources about the investment climate and sector priorities of each Pacific Island country. Investors will have access to bankable projects through the portal.
Glynis Miller, PTI New Zealand’s Trade Commissioner said the project aligned with the vision and goals of the 2050 Strategy for the Blue Pacific Continent.
“The Investment Readiness Toolkit project represents a year of dedicated work to help – in real and practical terms – established business owners in the Pacific Island countries attract and secure meaningful investment, grow export capacity and deliveries, and ultimately to benefit their communities and countries.”
