This year, Pacific Trade Invest (PTI) Australia hosted its largest ever Pacific Showcase at Fine Food Australia, the southern hemisphere’s leading trade exhibition for the food, hospitality and retail sectors. 14 Pacific businesses displayed their unique products at the exhibit. With demand for commodities such as cocoa and coffee surging globally, Pacific exporters stood ready to meet it, driving growth, innovation, and exceptional quality to international markets.
- Attending the exhibit from Fiji was Down to Earth Fiji, with their Fiji Fire sauces, alongside Foods Pacific Group, one of the country’s largest packaged food producers.
- Representing French Polynesia, La Vanille du Pacifique, a family-run business, highlighted their premium Tahitian vanilla.
- From Niue, Niue Honey and Niue Vanilla, showcased the world-class products coming out of the Big Ocean State.
- Federice Estates, Banz Kofi and PNG Kava, joined forces from Papua New Guinea (PNG), highlighting the enriched harvests of PNG’s fertile and volcanic soil.
- Social enterprise Solomons Gold exhibited their ethically sourced, allergen-free chocolate.
- From Vanuatu, Tanna Coffee introduced an exciting new coffee range.
- Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce represented an array of exciting products, including 83 Islands Distillery’s rum and gin, and sparkling water from Vanuatu Brewing.
- Finally, The Cocoa Provider, a Melbourne-based importer and distributor, highlighted the high-quality cocoa beans, butter, cocoa mass, and powder sourced from the Blue Pacific.
Maeva O’Donnell, PTI Australia’s Export Services Manager, said coming together as a region is essential to unlocking the full potential of Pacific products.
